Cebora presents the new power source Sound Power Rod 1840
Cebora presents the new Power Rod 1840 inverter single-phase power source, art. 261, for MMA and DC TIG welding (with "Cebora lift" ignition), that can weld electrodes up to Ø 4 mm and has a duty cycle of 180A at 40% (that becomes 120A at 100%).
It can also be used for TIG DC welding with "Cebora Lift ignition", together with the TIG Cebora T150 torch (art. 1567.20), featuring internal gas valve: the striking of TIG arc by contact is by means of the "start" button only, thereby avoiding any accidental ignition.
The power source is also equipped with a thermostatic protection.
For MMA welding, a remote power supply control can be connected to the torch control cable (art. 187) as well as a foot control unit for welding current adjustment (art. 181).
The new power source already features a PFC system that assures a substantial energy saving and makes it possible to use the power source with a mains fuse of 16A (slow blow). It also allows to get a wide tolerance on the supply voltage (+15% / -20%).
The IP23 protection degree makes it possible to use the power source outdoor.
The power source can also be powered by motor-driven generators of adequate power (min. 6KVA).
