"Schweissen & Schneiden" 2009 fair in Essen, Germany
The "Schweissen & Schneiden" fair, which is held in Essen, Germany, every four years, is the most important event worldwide for the metal welding and cutting sector. The fair, that celebrates its 17th edition, has reached this year (September 14th through 19th, 2009) the record number of more than 60.000 professional visitors. The Cebora stand was a center of attention thanks to the various exhibited novelties, particularly in the sectors of industry and, above all, of automation and robotics. In the Cebora stand were in effect operating a welding robot equipped with a Sound MIG 3840/T Pulse Robot welding power source and a cutting pantograph with Plasma Prof 254 HQC power source. Thanks, in facts, to its constant commitment for research and development, Cebora is today a worldwide leading manufacturer of power sources for welding and cutting automation solutions and a reference for the welding robots and cutting pantographs manufacturers as well as for the system integrators.
The fair was also the occasion for introducing some important novelties of the Cebora industrial range, including two inverter based compact MIG welding power sources, the Sound MIG Synergic 2230/M Star, art. 299 (single phase, 220A at 30%) and the Sound MIG Synergic 2740/T Star Pulse, art. 307 (three-phase, 275A at 40% and 240A at 100%: the best duty cycle in its category), and the MMA (stick electrode) welding power source Power Rod 1840 (single phase, 180A at 40%), that will become available in 2010.
All new machines feature the PFC system that assures a substantial energy saving and also allows to get a wide tolerance on the supply voltage (+15% / -20%).. Single phase machines have been designed to be powered by motor-driven generators of adequate power.
